Plant-A-Tree Program

We are trying to plant Cherry Blossom Trees, Plum Trees, Black Pine, Red Pine, and Bamboo at Honzo Haven.

The purpose is to allow individuals or groups to voluntary contribute funds directly to Honzo Haven for tree planting as a positive and personal step toward improving the environment.

How to Contribute:

The suggested minimum donation is $500.00 for one tree to plant. The contributed funds are used exclusively for acquiring seedlings and to cover the cost of planting trees. Honzo Haven will take care of the trees as part of their normal reforestation activities. Trees will be individually identified; we plant a specific tree in memory of an individual. Trees will be planted for multiple use management purposes and may be subject to harvesting the appropriate time.

A Contribution Process:

Please click the "donate" button, and put the donation amount. We accept credit card, debit card, and PayPal.

We are kindly seeking volunteers to support and assist the development of the Honzo Haven Cultural Center in the Catskill Mountains. Our mission is to create the center for the people, by the people.

We are welcoming people with expertise, as well as willing and able people to learn and grow with no prior experience:

• Clean up crew for post road construction. We need a crew to assist in cleaning the road and construction site once heavy equipment completes road construction.

• Construction of building including ; building, plumbing, electric etc. Architectural drawings are complete and approved.

• Expertise in Permaculture/Sustainable Farming and building. Goal is to construct a green and ecologically conscious environment.

• Garden/Nursery experience to plant bamboo, pine trees, Japanese plum trees, Cherry trees, and flower gardens around building.

• Organic vegetable/herb gardener.

• Maintenance of rice field and vegetable gardens.

If you identify with this mission-driven opportunity and have the passion to help, we need you. It is an opportunity to provide meaningful work and be part of this future holistic healing center. More than ever we must come together in community with love, to make a difference in healing ourselves and our world. Honzo Haven is the place where you can be reborn your true nature.
